OAU Notice to 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 Graduands

The management of Obafemi Awolowo University wishes to inform all students who completed their degree programmes during the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 sessions are to collect their academic robes, Order of Proceedings, and two Guest Cards from their College / Faculty Secretaries between 8.00 a.m and 4.00 p.m a day preceding the award of degrees in their disciplines on the presentation of receipts showing payment and submission of a photocopy of same as indicated below:

(i)First Degrees and Diplomas

All graduands are required to pay convocation charges of N6,500.00 inclusive of the OAU Alumni Advancement levy of N1,500.00.

(ii)Higher Degrees

All graduands are required to pay convocation charges of N8,500.00 inclusive of the OAU Alumni/Advancement levy of N,1.500.00

(B)Graduands should assemble at the Car Park of the Sports Complex on their graduation day not later than 8.30 a.m. They must be fully robed and seated in the places allocated to them at the convocation venue by 9.15 a.m. NOBODY INCLUDING GRADUANDS AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIANS, WILL BE ADMITTED INTO THE HALL, AFTER 9.30 A.M. EACH DAY.

(C)Academic robes must be returned the same day of the Convocation. Failure to return the gowns on the prescribed date and time shall attract a fine of N2,000.00 per day.

(D)Commercial Photographers/Video Operators will be charged N5,000.00 for the period. All those interested in functioning as Photographers/Video Operators are required to make payment to the Cash Office in the Bursary Department of the University between 9.00 a.m and 3.00 p.m from Monday, 1st December, 2014 and the receipts should be presented to the Public Relations Officer who will issue certificate of accreditation to operators.

(E)All Cars, Buses and Motorcycles coming to the campus will pay N500.00 each per day during the period of Convocation.

Graduands are not allowed to leave the Convocation venue before the end of the ceremony each day.

Graduands are strongly advised to comply with these arrangements.

Please note that whenever graduands are collecting their certificates, they will be required to show evidence of payment of the Convocation fees and also payment of a sum of N3,000.00 for OAU memorabilia at the Advancement Office.

We congratulate all graduands and wish them journey mercies to and from Ile-Ife.

b.Conferment of Bachelor’s Degree and Award of Prizes in the Faculties of Administration, Arts, Education, Law and Social Sciences

Venue: Oduduwa Hall Amphitheatre

c.Convocation Play
Time: 8.00 p.m.
Venue: Oduduwa Hall Amphitheatre

Thursday, 11th December, 2014
Conferment of Bachelor’s Degrees and award of Prizes in the Faculties of Agriculture, Environmental Design and Management, Pharmacy, Science, Technology and College of Health Sciences
Time: 10.00 a.m.
Venue: Oduduwa Hall Amphitheatre

Convocation Lecture
Topic: Entrepreneurship and the Relationship between Universities, Industry and Government

LASU Important Notice to 2014/2015 Newly Admitted Candidates

Lagos State University, Ojo has issued a notice especially for the newly admitted candidates of other institutions for the 2014/2015 session. All such are hereby informed and advised to follow accordingly, the instructions in the memo.

Candidates that have been offered Admissions in other Institutions (see the admission list here)but are interested in studying in Lagos State University (LASU) are required to pay the sum of N2,500.00 into the Account details below:

1. Candidates are to download their admission letters. Do so here
2. Go to their previous institutions i.e. the institution that had earlier offered admission for REJECTION.

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Notice to Students on Payment of Fees

No agent has been authorized by the school to carry out such activities on her behalf.

To this end all business centers operating within the university premises that will like to participate in the online payment activities are hereby asked to get registered at the ICT center immediately.
Operating online payment outfit without proper registration is illegal.

UNN 3rd Supplementary Admission List 2014/2015 Out

The University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has published the 3rd batch Supplementary Admission List of candidates offered provisional admission into her various first degree programmes for the 2014/2015 academic session.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OFFERED PROVISIONAL ADMISSIONS FOR THE 2014/2015 ACADEMIC SESSION:

Candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:

1) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (http://unnportal.unn.edu.ng), log in your JAMB Registration number to generate and download a unique Payment Invoice for acceptance fee. Take the Invoice to any branch Zenith bank or UBA on the e-tranzact platform to pay twenty five thousand Naira (N25,000.00) acceptance fee. Ensure that the Invoice Number is keyed in appropriately at the bank and obtain a confirmation slip containing a Confirmation Number and your Invoice Number.

2) Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (http://unnportal.unn.edu.ng) again and login your JAMB Registration Number, the Confirmation Number and Invoice Number, then print the Admission slip and complete the Acceptance Form online.

3) Proceed with other fee payments and registration as indicated on the University of Nigeria website.

UNIOSUN IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL FRESHERS: PROCEDURE FOR SCREENING REGISTRATION

1. Upon completion of Acceptance Registration on the Admissions Portal, all freshers are required to proceed to the College Office for screening exercise.

2. Freshers are to present the following documents in the order listed below:
a) UNIOSUN Provisional Admission Slip
b) JAMB Admission Letter
c) O’Level Result
d) Statement of Result and Copy of Academic Transcript (Direct Entry Only)
e) UTME Result/DE Registration Form
f) Post UTME Screening Result
g) Two copies of Acceptance Clearance
h) Valid (three years) Tax Clearance of Parent
i) Osun State Development Levy

3. After successful verification of the documents listed in (2) above, freshers are to collect files and other necessary documents. The Students’ Portal account of the fresher is then activated. PLEASE NOTE 

THAT ONLY ACTIVATED PORTAL ACCOUNTS CAN PROCEED FOR FURTHER REGISTRATION.
4. After activation, freshers are to proceed for payment of the stipulated fees via the UNIOSUN Interswitch WebPAY platform.

5. Freshers are to complete courses registration online and submit copies of course forms in their respective Departments.

6. Freshers are to submit the files collected in (3) above with all the necessary documents on or before the registration deadline.

Important Notice: Kogi State Polytechnic Notice Regarding 2014/2015 Admissions

Kogi State polytechnic has issued a notice concerning 2014/2015 admission application to prospective students. All such students are hereby informed.
 
Prospective candidates are hereby informed that the Online Application will soon be re-opened for IJMB programme (See details of programme here)hence, Part-Time Applicants can still fill their forms online.

It has however come to the notice of the Polytechnic management that some candidates obtain IJMB or Part-Time forms with the intention of changing it to Full-Time ND/HND. This in actual fact will only amount to a waste of time and resources as Full-Time applicants records have been extracted for Admission Processing since 30th October, 2014. So candidates that intend to do such to gain admission should desist from doing so.
