Federal Polytechnic Nekede 2013/2014 Clearance Begins For fresher

This is to inform the general public and all the prospective students of Federal Polytechnic Nekede that the 2013/2014 Registration and Clearancefor freshers has commenced.If you are admitted into the Poly Nekede, you should take note that the registration is going to end soon. Although others are saying the Poly Nekede clearance and Registration have not commenced, this is wrong because we have just been told by some students of the Polytechnic that the clearance/screening has fully commenced.

Unfortunately, the official website of Federal Polytechnic Nekede didn’t give much information regarding this, a lot of admitted candidates are not aware that registration has commenced. We advice all the aspirants
of the Institution who have been offered admission to visit the school premises as soon as possible.

According to the unconfirmed source, Computer Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Students of Federal Poly Nekede will commenced their clearance/registration on Monday, 20th January, 2014!

FOR THE 2013/2014 SESSION

Freshmen

1.      Newly-Admitted students should visit University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) for the Fee Payment Structure;

2.      Pay non-refundable Acceptance Fee, Transcript Verification Fee (for Direct Entry Students only) and Processing Fee (for those in the supplementary Admission List who did not apply for Advertised Courses or Staff Request Forms);

3.      Pay Consolidated Service Charges;

4.      Pay online for the Hostel Accommodation, if desired;

5.      Submit three (3) Office Flat Files to the Registrar's (Admissions) Office Nsukka/Enugu Campus for Clearance, each of which should contain the following:

            Photocopies of credentials required for admission into the admitted course;

            Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Affidavit of Age declaration;

            JAMB Registration Slip and Admissions Slip printed online;

            UNN Admission Slip printed online;

            Student's Profile Update printed online;

               Local Government Identification Letter (to be provided on or before Matriculation; Foreign students are required to provide photocopy of their International passport data page in lieu of the Local Government Identification Letter) ;

               Letter of Attestation by Sponsor who should be responsible for the student's upkeep and fee payments in the University ; and

               Letter of Undertaking by the student (format to be issued to students by the Registrar's (Admissions) Office, Nsukka/Enugu Campus);

6.      Check online for the assigned Student Registration Number and e-mail address; and

7.      Proceed to Faculty to meet the Faculty Officer for further information on registration of courses; however, students are also advised to adhere to the provisions of the Faculty Handbook.

Returning Students

1.      Returning students should visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) for the Fee Payment Structure;

2.      Pay online for Hostel Accommodation, if desired; and

University of Ilorin Admits Only 8,587 out of 103,211 Candidates for 2013/2014 Session

The University of Ilorin, (Unilorin) Kwara State admits only 8,587 students out of the 103,211 candidates who applied for admission into the University for the 2013/2014 academic year.

Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali said out of the applicants, 16,123 passed the Post Utme, while 8,587 were admitted and matriculated in line with the Institution’s carrying capacity.

The University at the weekend matriculated 8,587 students who were successfully admitted into the Institution for the 2013/14 session.

Professor Abdulganiyu Ambali urged the students to be disciplined and religiously comply with the Institution’s rules and regulations. He noted that the University has zero tolerance for indiscipline.

Delta State University Screening of Students Hold March 3rd

SCREENING OF NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS

The Screening of Newly admitted students consist of 2 parts (A & B) namely:

A)   Medical Examination:  This is to be done at the University Health Centres in the respective campuses – Abraka, Asaba and Oleh.  It starts on Monday 20^th January 2014 and ends on Friday, 28^th February 2014. Each Head of University Health Centre/Services should now set up the necessary machinery for the medical examination.

B)  Screening and Registration of Fresh Students:  will commence on Monday 3^rd March 2014. Each Academic Department should now constitute its Screening Committee, please.

Candidates are advised to come along with the following items/documents for the screening exercise:

(i)        Original UTME Notification of Result

(ii)       SSCE/GCE/NECO, etc. Statement of Result (original and five photocopies Computer printout of Private candidates SSCE result duly certified and stamped by the Principal) (Original and five photocopies). 

(iii)     Letter of Reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/Senior Civil Servant (Original and five photocopies).

(iv)      Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Original and five photocopies)

(v)       Passport photographs with red background (12 copies).

(vi)      All candidates who obtained their entry qualification i.e. WASC, GCE, NEC, etc on or before 2008 must tender the original of their certificates. (Statements of result will not be accepted).

(vii)    The use of Affidavit in lieu of Statement of Result will not be accepted.

Fake Jamb 2014 Registration Card Now On Sale in Lagos
