Rugipo 2014/2015 Admission List Out, Admission Guidelines Announced

This is to inform all candidates who took part in the 2014/2015 Post-UTME screening exercise of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic that the Admission List has been released.


Candidates are to visit the school to check their names on the admission list.

TIME TABLE FOR ADMISSION/REGISTRATION OF NEW STUDENTS FOR 2014/2015 ACADEMIC SESSION

1.24th September, 2014. Release of First Admission List

2.24th - 6th October, 2014. Payment of Acceptance fees by the Candidates offered Provisional Admissions

3.24th September - 20th October, 2014. Screening of Candidates and Issuance of Admission Letters. Payment of School Fees.

5.21st October, 2014. Release of Supplementary Admission List

6.29th September - 6th October, 2014. Payment of Acceptance fees by Part Time and HND (FT) candidates

7.29th September - 20th October, 2014. Screening of Part Time and ND (FT) candidates and payment of School fees

8.20th October, 2014. Close of Admission and Change of Courses

9.20th October - 7th November, 2014. Registration & Issuance of Clearance card

NOTE:
CANDIDATES OFFERED ADMISSIONS ARE ENJOINED TO ADHERE STRICTLY TO THE ABOVE TIME TABLE

FINAL ADMISSION SHALL BE BASED ON FIRST TO COME, FIRST TO BE OFFERED ADMISSION/FIRST TO PAY, FIRST TO BE OFFERED ADMISSION.

PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEES

RUGIPO Post-UTME Screening Result for 2014/2015 Out

The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic (RUGIPO), Owo has released the results of the recently concluded 2014/2015 Post Utme Screening Examination.
 

The results can now be accessed online on the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic post ume result checking portal.

How to Check 2014 RUGIPO Post Utme Result:
Follow the steps below to check the Results;
1) Visit the RUGIPO website Post Utme result
2) Select your Registration Year (i.e. 2014),
4) Enter yourJAMB Reg. No. in the space provided,
5) Click on theCHECK NOWbutton to check your result.

Updates: RUGIPO Post-UTME 2014/2015 Still On - Apply Here

This is to inform all candidates that applied for admission into Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo during 2014 Unified Teritary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and scored 150 and above, that online registration for 2014/2015 Post-UTME Screening exercise for the Polytechnic has commenced and will close on 23rd August.

The scratch cards for the online registration can be obtained at any branch of the following banks and post-offices:

i. First Bank PLC branches in Ondo state;
ii. Skye Bank PLC, Owo;
iii. Wema Bank Plc, Owo;
iv. Enterprise Bank Ltd, Owo; and
v. Post-Offices in Ondo and Ekiti States, and Higher Institution Consultancy Centre (HICC) Office, behind the Directorate of Academic Affairs of Rufus Giwa Polytechic, Owo.

The scratch cards for registration, checking of result, admission status and past questions and answers can be purchased at the aforementioned places on payment of a sum of Six Thousand Naira (N6,000)only.

Closing Date for the Entries:

The registration exercise shall close on Saturday, 23rd August, 2014 and there is no late registration.

Dates for the Screening Exercise:
The candidates that applied for courses in Faculty of Environmental Studies, i.e
i. Department of Architectural Technology;
ii. Department of Arts & Designs;
iii. Department of Building Technology;
iv. Department of Estate Management & Valuation;
v. Department of Quantity Surveying;
vi. Department of Urban & Regional Planning (URP); and
vii. Department of Surveying & Geo-Informatics

The POST-UTME test for the above departments will be Computer Based Test (CBT) and will hold on Tuesday, 26th August 2014

While others, viz:
i. Faculty of Applied Sciences
ii. Faculty of Agricultural Technology
iii. Faculty of Business Studies
iv. Faculty of Engineering Technology and
v. Faculty of Social Sciences & Communication Studies

will write Pencil Paper Based Test (PPBT)on Tuesday, 2nd September, 2014.

Venue of the Exercise:
The venue of the exercise is Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo Main Campus at 9:00am each day

Rufus Giwa Poly (RUGIPO) 2014/2015 Screening Holds 16th September, HND, ND

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Full Time and Part-Time Programmes for the 2014/2015 academic session at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All interested candidates are enjoined to register on the polytechnic website: www.rugipo.edu.ng The scratch card for the registration can be obtained in the under-listed banks and post-offices on payment of Ten Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N10,500) only:

• First Bank Plc (Owo and Alagbaka-Akure Branches)
• Skye Bank Plc
• Wema Bank Plc
• Enterprise Bank LTD
• Post-Offices in Ondo, EKiti, Lagos, Osun, Edo, Oyo States, Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Higher Institution Consultancy Centre (HICC) office behind the Directorate of Academic Affairs of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo.

The closing dates for the registration exercise are as follows:

1. Coaching/Extra-Mural classes, Post-Graduate Diploma and professional courses will close on 3rd October, 2014.
2. ND Part-Time(PT) and HND Part-Time(PT and Full Time will close on 22nd August, 2014

Meanwhile, the screening tests for ND PT, HND PT and HND FT will hold on Tuesday, 16th September, 2014 in Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo at 9.00am prompt
The candidates that apply for HND Programme in the Departments of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Office Technology and Management and Electrical Engineering will write the Computer Based Test.
