Qualifications and Experience Required for the Various Positions
Computer literacy is required for all positions while relevant Professional qualification (like ICAN, ACCA for Accounting Programme) would be an added advantage for various vacant positions.
i.) Professor/ Associate Professor (FUASS 07):

• Candidate must possess P.hD from recognized institutions, with minimum of 9/10 years teaching experience.
• Candidates must have a strong record of publications in relevant and reputable national and international academic journals and other publishing outlets.
• In addition, candidates must also possess some measure of experience in administration of academic Units and University Governance.

ii.) Senior Lecturer (FUASS 05):

• Candidates must possess the above qualification and must have had at least 6 years University full-time teaching and research experience with ability to initiate and supervise research projects.
• Administrative experience will be an advantage.
• Successful applicants must be able to give academic and professional leadership in the chosen discipline.

NON ACADEMIC

A. Registry
i.) Senior Assistant/Registrar (FUNTISS 11)

• Applicants must possess a good honours degree from any Humanities or Social Science discipline or other relevant discipline from recognized University and must be a qualified Member of a recognized relevant professional body(ies) with at least 9 years of University administrative experience.
• In addition, applicants must be computer literate and have ability to use computer software and ability to handle administrative relevant issues.

ii.) Administrative Officer (FUNTISS 07):

• Applicants must possess a good Honours Degree from any Humanities or Social Science discipline or other relevant discipline from a recognized University.
• In addition, applicants must be Computer literate and  have ability to use computer software and ability to handles administrative related issues.

B. Library

i.) Principal Liberian (FUASS 05)

• Applicants must possess a good honours Degree plus a Master's in Library Science from a recognized University.
• In addition, applicants must have at least 9 (Nine) years of post qualification cognate experience and a good record of publications in reputable journals; must be Computer literate and have a good understanding of Information and Communication Technology as applicable to Library services.

Fountain University 1st Admission List 2014/2015 Released

Candidates who applied for admission into Fountain University, Oshogbo and took part in the 2014/2015 Post-UTME screening conducted on 19th July, 2014 can now check their admission status online.

To check your admission status,
1. Visit the checking portal by clicking here.
2. On the page that loads up, enter your JAMB registration number in the space provided and click "Check Status".

Your admission status will be made available to you.

The institution is expected to hold the next post-UTME exam for candidates on Saturday, 16th of August, 2014.

Fountain University 2014 Undergraduate Scholarship Application Now On

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates who sat for the 2014 UTME/obtained Direct Entry Form.

There are Over 100 scholarship slots available to fresh students in Fountain University, Osogbo.

Criteria for Eligibility

Evidence of a score of 180 and above in the 2014 JAMB UTM Examination

Evidence of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result (a minimum of 5 credits in relevant subjects including Maths and English Language obtained within the last five years)

Candidates awaiting WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result can also apply provided there is assurance that such result will be available before Matriculation in December 2014. In addition, candidates who have not chosen Fountain University can also apply for the scholarship.

Application For Fountain University Osogbo 2014/2015 Post UTME/Admission - Requirements, Date and Procedures

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Candidates for the Screening Exercise for admission into the DEGREE and PRE-DEGREE Programmes for the 2014/2015 Academic Session commencing OCTOBER 2014.

GENERAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
a.Candidates applying for admission into Pre-Degree Programme must possess minimum of four (4) O’level credit passes in subjects which must include English Language and Mathematics for Sciences and Management & Social Sciences. Candidates with deficiencies in their O’level results will be considered; but such candidates are however, required to make up for any deficiency before the 2015/2016 admission exercise.

b.Candidates applying for admission into any Undergraduate Programme must possess a minimum of five (5) O’level credit passes at not more than two sittings in WAEC/NECO SSCE AND GCE which must include credit passes in English Language and Mathematics, and any other THREE subjects relevant to the proposed course of study OBTAINED WITHIN THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

c.Direct Entry Candidates are expected to possess a good Diploma in their choice of Course (With minimum of Lower Credit) from reputable Polytechnics or Universities OR equivalent A’ Level Passes (including IJMB) in relevant Subjects. DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO ALSO PURCHASE THE DIRECT ENTRY FORM OF THE JOINT ADMISSIONS & MATRICULATION BOARDS.

Candidates awaiting results can also apply provided there is the assurance that such results will be available before Matriculation in December, 2014.

FEES AND OTHER INFORMATION
The current school fees is N341,500 for the Degree Programme. The fee is payable in two instalments of 60:40 ratio at the beginning of First Semester and Second Semester respectively. Every new student will pay N25,000 as Acceptance fee before collection of Admission letter. Students will be responsible for their feeding in the University Restaurants on PAY AS YOU EAT BASIS.
