The candidates listed below that chose Federal University Lafia as first choice in the 2014 UTME but had only awaiting results at the time of the first Post-UTME screening of Saturday August 2, 2014 are now invited for screening as follows:

1. Who is eligible to appear for screening?

Candidates who fulfill the following criteria:

University of Port-Harcourt (UNIPORT) Basic Studies (Pre-Degree) Programme 2014/2015 Application On

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Basic Studies Programme of the University of Port Harcourt for the 2014/2015 academic session.


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates should possess WASSC/SSCE/NECO/NABTEB Ordinary Level with credit passes in at least 5 relevant subjects. See Table below for further details.

COURSE DURATION
The Programme is for a period of one year (one academic session).

APPLICATION
Online application will commence from Monday, August 25, 2014; while the closing date for application is 12 midnight on Friday, October 10, 2014.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application is online, Logon to www.uniport.edu.ng and follow the instructions; a fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000.00), excluding Bank charges is required. Payment can be made at designated Banks nationwide. The names on candidates’ O’Level Certificates must be the same as what is filled online. Any false information given automatically disqualifies the applicant.

SCREENING EXERCISE
The Screening Test will be Computer-Based and shall be conducted on Monday, October 27, 2014.

Venue: ICTC, University Park (Abuja Campus), University of Port Harcourt.

Candidates are required to come with the following and be at the Venue by 7.00am

Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Pre-Degree Application 2014/2015 Registration Start

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Pre-Degree programme of Ebonyi State University for the 2014/2015 session.



SCOPE OF THE SCHOOL PROGRAMME

Benefits:
The Pre-Degree School prepares candidates for the following examinations:

(i) Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB/UTME)

(ii) EBSU Pre-Degree internal examination (which qualifies successful candidates with national minimum UTME score for consideration for admission into EBSU main degree programmes).

(iii) Serves as a remedial programme for candidates preparing for O’Level examinations but is not a substitute to O’Level requirements for main course admission.

(iv) Offers participants intensive training in Basic Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

OTHER ADMISSION BENEFITS
Successful Pre-Degree candidates are meant to benefit specially from the JAMB admission quota reserved for prelim candidates. Successful 2014/2015 pre-degree candidates shall be considered for main course admission of EBSU for the 2015/2016 academic session under the following programmes:


ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
To be eligible for admission, a candidate must have five (5) credits in GCE O’Level, NECO or SSCE at not more than two sittings.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME:
The programme is designed for one academic year which shall last for a minimum of ten (10) calendar months.

(ii) With the scratch cards, prospective candidates should access and complete the application form at www.ebsu-edu.net.

COMMENCEMENT AND CLOSING DATES
Sale of admission scratch cards starts on 1st September, 2014 and ends on 26th November, 2014 while lectures will commence on 28th November, 2014.
