2014/2015 Federal University, Dutsin-Ma UTME/Direct Entry Acceptance Fees Guideline

The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma UTME/Direct Entry Acceptance Fee Guideline for the 2014/2015 academic session has been released. The acceptance fee schedule was announced along with the Supplementary UTME/Direct Entry Admission List for the 2014/2015 academic session.
 

Acceptance/Registration and Resumption Guidelines for UTME and Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

1. Candidate should check here to confirm that their names are on the admission list and Department/Programme of Study admitted in the University.
2. Candidates are advised to study carefully from the University website the specific Departmental subjects requirements before coming to the University to start registration.
3. All candidates should note that, the University requires Credit pass in English and Mathematics in all its programmes.
4. Successful candidates of 2014/2015 Session admissions are to report to the University for clearance/Registration from Monday 20th to Friday, 24th October, 2014.
5. Successful candidates are to note that change of course applications will not be accepted.

NOTE: Newly admitted candidates of the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma who have been selected through UTME or Direct Entry should download the full admission list as the the required guidelines for acceptance/registration are contained in the list.

FUDutsin-ma Registration Guidelines for Returning Students 2014/2015 Academic Session

Below is the registration procedure for returning students (First Semester) 2014/2015 session;
 
 Go to http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng, login and do the following:
Click on “My Fees/Charges”
Select “List My Fees”
Click on “+ More fee Items”,
Search for the appropriate fees (example: 200L First Semester Fees) and click on “Process Item”.
On the next page, select “Confirm Action” and click “Process Payments”
You will be prompted with a confirmation dialog box, click “OK” to confirm you intend to pay for the item. (note: you will not be able to pay your fees if you don’t click “ok”).
A payment slip will be generated bearing the “Transaction ID” for the given payment.
You will be required to use the generated “transaction ID” to make payment using any of your preferred payment options as listed below:
The schedule of fees for Returning students is found below:

Guidelines on Payment
Students wishing to make payment of mandatory school charges are advised to take note of the following payment options which can be made from anywhere within the country (each option attracts a bank charge of N300.00):
Three Payment options are available for candidates to choose from in order to make payments.
Cash Payment at Designated Banks
ATM payment at ATM Machines Across the Country
WEB on the Quickteller platform.
For cash payments; Visit any branch of
United Bank for Africa
Guarantee Trust Bank
First Bank of Nigeria
Zenith Bank Plc
Note that you will be required to present a printout bearing your Transaction ID at the bank. After Payment has been received from you, a Payment Slip will be issued to you from the bank
For ATM; Visit any ATM machine with your ATM card and do the following:
select Quickteller from the ATM menu
select pay bills
Fill in the Transaction ID generated from the our portal when you are requested to enter the Customer ID
Fill in 65101 when you are requested to enter the Payment Code
Enter your GSM Number and complete the transaction.
vi. After successfully completing the payment, return to the portal to login and print out your payment slip
For Web; Visit the Quickteller website to complete your transaction.
visit www.quickteller.com/fudmapay
insert your transaction ID
insert your email and mobile number and click "continue" follow the instructions on the screen to complete your payment
Print out the payment confirmation slip
Return to the portal and printout a payment confirmation slip
Go to your department to confirm the approved number/combination of courses for the given semester.
Return to http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng, login and do the following:
Next, Click on “My Modules”
Then Click on “Course Outline”
Then Select “View” on the appropriate Semester Registration
You will find a list of Courses to be registered. Ensure that you select the check box next to each course you desire to register.
Click on “Register” below
Finally, click “Confirm” to confirm your registration. (Note that after confirmation, you can no longer make changes to your course selection).
After confirmation, Logout
If your desire accommodation, Generate a “Transaction ID” for that purpose and proceed to the bank to pay for Accommodation (Note: only 100L and 400L Students are entitled for Accommodation). Other interested students should apply to Dean, Student Affairs for Accommodation.
After Semester Registration, Check back after 24hrs to see if your Registration has been approved.

Federal University Dustin-Ma (FUDMA) 2014/2015 Pre-degree Application Out

All applicants seeking admission into the School of General & Preliminary Studies Federal University, Dutsin-Ma are hereby invited to apply on-line for admission into the 2014/2015 Academic Session.
General Guidelines

Visit our application portal at http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/sgps/, locate and click Start Application at the bottom left corner of the page to start your application.

Fill and submit the "Application Form".

A "Payment Transaction Slip" is generated for you. On it, you will find your unique Transaction ID for making payments at the Bank, as well as your Application Form Number.

Print a copy of your Payment Transaction Slip, and proceed to pay a non-refundable fee of N5,300 (Five thousand, three hundred naira only, bank charges inclusive) N5,000.00 (Five thousand naira) for the Application form and N300.00 (Three hundred Naira) for bank charges using any of the payment options listed below.

Note that:
You will be required to present your Transaction ID at the bank if you choose to pay cash.

You will be charged an additional N100 (One Hundred Naira) if you choose to pay using the ATM option.

Return to the Portal (http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/sgps/) after payment, enter your Application Form Number and email address to continue your application.

Complete and submit the full application form with accurate data.

Payment Options
There are three Payment options available for applicants to make payment.

Submission of Form
Submitted applications will only be processed and validated after payment has been confirmed. Applicants are advised to ensure the following:

Use the correct "Transaction ID" found on your Payment Transaction Slip.

Regularly check our website: http://www.fudutsinma.edu.ng for up-to-date information regarding their application.

Candidate must ensure to select the correct subject combination for their desired programme of study.

Selection of Programme
All applicants are expected to be of science background and must have attempted mathematics, English, Chemistry, Physics and (Biology or Agricultural Science). The university offers two (2) options for applicants into School of General and Preliminary Studies

Remedial: This Program is for applicants with at least three credits in any of the science O'Level subjects listed above.

Preliminary Studies: This Program is for applicants who have five(5) credits in the science O'Level subjects listed above. Two options are available for preliminary studies:

PS1: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology

PS2: English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Agricultural Science.

Candidate is advised to print out a copy of their Application Form for record keeping after submission.

Screening Exercise

All successful applicants would be required to partake in a screening test for which a date would be announced.

The test is Computer-Based Testing.

The use of Electronic calculators, GSM phones, CDMA and other electronic devices are not allowed into the screening exercise hall.

Applicants should Note:For an application to qualify for consideration,

A candidate must possess at least five (5) O'Level credits in English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology or Agricultural Science only when applying for Preliminary Studies.

A candidate must possess at least three (3) O’Level credits in science subjects listed above when applying for Remedial.

Applicant must pay the required application fee of ₦5,300.00 (bank charges inclusive) otherwise, their application will NOT be considered.

Bank draft and Cash payment will not be accepted.

Applicants are required to have a valid functional email address before starting their application. It must be unique and may NOT be shared with any other applicant.

Candidates with Awaiting Results are also eligible to apply
