OOU Released 2nd Batch Admission List 2014/2015 Available on JAMB Website

This is to inform 2014/2015 prospective students of Onabisi Onabanjo University that the 2nd Batch of Admission List is available on JAMB Portal.

To check your admission status simply click here

Type in your UTME Reg. Number

Click on "Check your Admission Status"

OOU Guidelines on Payment of Acceptance Fee 2014/2015

This is to inform all aspirants of Olabisi Onabanjo University that they can check our admission status, pay acceptance fee and process your registration following the guidelines below;

ONLINE ADMISSION/REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Log on to www.oouagoiwoye.edu.ng/portal/admission

Click on Check Admission Status to confirm your admission and enter JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER and use your SURNAME (first login) and click Login

You are required to change your password to your original password (first login).

Click on Print PUTME Receipt and Acceptance Invoice respectively.

Proceed with a printed copy of Acceptance Invoice to any Point Of Sales (POS) terminal in all campuses of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye to pay the acceptance fee of N40,000.00.

After 24hours of Acceptance Payment login to your homepage and;

Click on Fill Registration Forms

Bio Data Form.

Entry Qualifications.

Other forms as may be required.

After submitting your Bio Data and Entry Qualification Form online Print these forms which include: Verification Form and Bio Data Form respectively.

Click on Print Acceptance Receipt

Proceed to the Academic Affairs Office for your 1st Verification and your Faculty for 2nd Verification

(a)Present to the Registration Officer, the originals and one set of photocopies of the following documents arranged separately in the order shown below:

Verification/Personal Data Form

PUTME Receipt

Acceptance Fee Receipt

UTME Score Result

Post UTME Result

O’level Result

Diploma Result and other entry requirements (for DE Candidates only)

Birth Certificate.

Tax Clearance Certificate OR N10,000.00 Ogun State Tax Receipt

JAMB Admission Letter.

(b) Counter-sign the verification forms at the College/Faculty Offices.

Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) Re-opens, Lecture Begins 29th September - Academic Calendar

Senate at its 327th Emergency meeting of 26th September, 2014 resolved that lectures should resume in all the campuses of the University from 29th September, 2014. 

 

All students are however to ensure that they are fully registered by paying either 60% or 100 percent of their fees for 2013/14 session by at least one week before the commencement of the Harmattan semester to be qualified to write the examinations for the session. Senate also approved the revised academic calendar for the remaining part of the 2013/14session as shown in the table below:

Good News - OOU Lifts Ban On Student Union Government

The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye has lifted the ban earlier placed on the Student Union Government with immediate effect while the institution remains closed.

The development follows the intervention of the State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, FCA as a result of entreaties made by the National Association of Nigerian Students (NAANS), South-West zone,well-meaning elders and other stakeholders on behalf of the Student Union Government.

The ban lift is to give room for further deliberations to resolve issues surrounding the closure of the school.

The SUG and the entire students are hereby enjoined to maintain peace while both parties explore dialogue to resolve the matter.

Candidates can access their admission status through the following guidelines:

1.Visit the OOU admission status checking portal by clicking here

2.Enter your JAMB Registration Number in the space provided

3.Then click the “CHECK STATUS ” button

4.For OOU PRE DEGREE Candidates:-
-Fill your details in the space provided correctly. (Very Important)

If you get a response like “NO Admission Offered Yet”
check back later to know when your status is updated.

OOU Update - OOU Management Bans SUG Announces the Closure of the University

Following the announcement by the Ogun State Government Of the indefinite closure of Olabisi Onabanjo University for security reasons, the University authorities hereby direct all students to stay away from the University campuses.

To this effect the Student union Government has been proscribed forthwith for collaborating with unregistered group and external influences.

A meeting of the Parents Forum and the University Management will be called in due course to discuss the implication of the closure and the way forward. Parents and guardians are hereby adviced to ensure that their wards comply with this university directive and go home to avoid unpleasant circumstances.
