FUNNAB Collection of Application Form for Change of Course

This is to inform all Students who have been advised to withdraw from their current Departments and Students who want to voluntarily change their Departments to visit the Senate and Admissions Unit to obtain a Placement Form.

These categories of students are expected to:

i. Pay Five Hundred Naira (N500) only at the University Microfinance Bank;

ii. Convert their tellers to receipts at their respective Colleges

iii. Use the receipt to obtain an application form at the Senate and Admissions office.


The deadline for payment and collection of the form is Friday, 19th December, 2014

FUNAAB 2014/2015 Hostel Application Out - How to Apply

FUNAAB hostel application procedures for the 2014/2015 academic session is out. Interested students of the university are hereby informed.
 
The Students’ Welfare and Hostel Management Committee (SWEHOMAC) under the aegis of the Students’ Affairs Division of the Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta has issued a memo signed by PAR, Students Affairs, Akomolafe, O.F. announcing the commencement of allocations of bed spaces to students – both returning and newly admitted.

The allocation of hostel bed spaces for the 2014/2015 Session has been scheduled to commence on Monday 1st of Dec 2014.

Interested students should follow the underlisted procedures to acquire their bed space:

1. Interested students should start with an expression of interest make a pament of N1,000, after which they are to get back to Hostel Portal Online to place reservation for bed spaces, in their respective preferred Hostels, and log in with ID(Matric no for Returning Students and UTME/Jamb reg no for fresh students).

2. Thereafter, a Hostel Fee invoice shall be generated when a reservation has been successfully made. Interested Applicants are to print the Invoice and make payment at the following designated banks:
  1. Wema Bank Plc, Oke-Ilewo Abk;
  2. Diamond Bank Plc, Abk;
  3. GTB, Kuto, Abk;
  4. Zenith Bank Plc, Isale Igbein, Abk;
  5. Funaab Microfinance Bank, Alabata, Abk;
  6. First Bank Plc, Panseke, Abk;
This payment should be made within 5 days of this notification as failure to do this will result in cancellation of their reservation. So, to make a fresh reservation, interested applicants will need to generate a New Hostel Application Invoice.

NOTE: A bed space is automatically allocated to interested applicant when he/she makes payment within the stipulated 5 Days.

Intending Applicants should endeavor to convert their bank tellers to receipt at the Bursary Unit of their Colleges and complete hostel registration forms at their allocated hostels.

Consideration shall be given to applicants who have paid their school fees while those that who provide wrong information shall be Automatically disqualified from being considered for bed spaces.

FUNAAB Registration Guidelines for 2014/2015 Newly Admitted Candidates

All newly admitted candidates into the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta are expected to follow the following procedures for registration:

1. Go to portal.unaab.edu.ng
(i) Fill the acceptance forms
(ii) Print the completed Acceptance Form
(iii) Download and print the following registration forms;
a. 2014/2015 fresher’s clearance form
b. Eligibility/verification form
c. Personal data form
d. Sponsor’s form
e. Declaration against cultism form
f.Verification certificate form
g. Medical form

2. Proceed to your respective College to see the Examinations and Records Officer for the verification of the entry qualification(s) on which the admission was based. If credentials are found to be in order, the
College Schedule Officer will issue a Compact Disc (CD). If not, examinations and records officer will refer candidate to Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) for further necessary actions.

3. Return online to portal.unaab.edu.ng after 24hours to generate school fees invoice.

4. Proceed to the designated banks with your School Fees Invoice to pay Prescribed Fees and collect
evidence of payment.

5. Return online to portal.unaab.edu.ng to generate your receipt, fill your course registration forms
and print.

6. Proceed to your College Accountant to authenticate your receipt.

7. Proceed to the Department with your course registration forms for verification, registration and
submission.

8. After the clearance and Registration at the
Department, return to the Examinations and Records
Office with (i) Duly signed and stamped departmental clearance
(ii) Receipt for payment of prescribed fees and (iii) Other completed forms itemized in (1) above for endorsement.

Thereafter, the College Schedule Officer will issue an Eligibility Certificate to duly cleared and registered students.

9. Other registration formalities at the Student Affairs Unit, the Library and the University Health Centre will run at the same time with the Departmental Registration.

10. Eligibility Certificate obtained from the
Examinations and Records Office is to enable students sign Matriculation Register at the College.

11. Attendance at the Orientation Programme which is slated to hold between Monday Dec. 15 – Friday,
Dec. 19, 2014 is compulsory for all fresh students as this will be the prerequisite for the allocation of
Matriculation Number.

Note: Hostel accommodation is limited and available on first- come-first serve basis for interested applicants. Payment of School fees is a prerequisite. For Details Visit hostel.unaab.edu.ng

FUNAAB 2014/2015 Medical Examination Schedule For New Students

FUNAAB Medical Laboratory Examination schedule for 2014/2015 new students has been released. All fresh students are hereby informed to take note of the dates ascribed to their departments and follow it accordingly.
 
Health Centre has released the schedule for routine medical laboratory examination for newly admitted undergraduates for 2014/2015. The medical screening exercise is part of the admission criteria in order to ensure that students with contagious diseases are not admitted into the school as way of protecting the school community members amongst other reasons.

  • Two white transparent bottles containing their freshly produced URINE and STOOL Specimen separately. This must be properly labeled with their names.
  • Original copy of either their school fees receipt (Click Here Funaab School Fees Schedule 2014/2015), Departmental receipts or composite form
2. They must be at the Laboratory of Directorate of Health Services, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta between 8a.m and 12 noon on the day schedule for their Department.

Please ensure to adhere strictly to the date.

FUNNAB Schedule of Fees for 2014/2015 Academic Session

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, wishes to inform the public that in preparation for the commencement of academic activities for 2014/2015 academic session, the Senate has approved the following resumption schedule for fresh and returning students:

(i)Arrival of fresh students: Sunday, November 30, 2014;

(ii)Online registration of returning students: Monday, December 1, 2014 – Friday, January 9, 2015;

(iii)Arrival of returning students: Sunday, December 12, 2014;

(iv)Commencement of first semester lectures for all students: Monday, December 22, 2014.

FUNAAB Academic Calendar 2014/2015 Academic Session Out

FUNAAB official academic calendar for the 2014/2015 session has been officially released. All students – new and returning are hereby informed.

The much anticipated academic calendar for the Federal University Of Agriculture has been finally released. The academic calendar contains the scheduled activities be it academic or non academic that should take place in the new academic session. As we have earlier informed you, freshers are expected to arrive on campus on Sun 30th November.

FUNAAB Resumption Date For 2014/2015 Academic Session

FUNAAB resumption date for the 2014/2015 academic session has been announced by the SUG president of the school. All students are hereby informed. See the dates that freshers and returning students will resume below.
 
The Federal University Of Agriculture, Abeokuta academic calendar for 2014/2015 is yet to be released but the resumption dates for the new session has been announced by the new SUG presdent of the Institution.

In his first official statement since resuming in office, Comrade Olajumoko Olawale aka hollar hollar has announced the school’s resumption dates for the new academic session. All new and returning students are to take note of these dates and begin their resumption preparations in advance.
  • Freshers are are to resume on  November 30 2014
  • Returning Students (Stallites) Resumes on Dec 15, 2014.
All students are advised to start packing their bags!

FUNAAB 2014/2015 Pre Degree 2nd Entrance Examination Application

FUNAAB pre degree and Cambridge ‘A’ Level 2nd Batch entrance Exams for 2014/2015 application form is out. Candidates that missed outn of the first entrance exam are hereby informed to seize this opportunity.
 
Candidates that missed out of the first Pre Degree/ A Levels Programme Entrance Exams as well as those that are interested in any of the Programmes are hereby informed that the form is still available and there would be another Entrance Exams coming up.

The 2014/2015 Funaab pre degree and A levels 2nd entrance exam will come up on the 25th of Nov 2014.
The form goes for N12,000.
Form Fee: N11,700
Commission: N300

How To Apply For FUNAAB Pre degree 2nd entrance exam 2014/2015

Interested candidates should follow the steps below to apply
  1. First, generate a Payment Invoice/Reference number on the Pre Degree Portal,
  2. Go to the FUNAAB pre degree portal by following this link – http://portal.unaab.edu.ng:93/
  3. On getting to the page, click on  “click here to print the payment reference number”.
  4. Your payment invoice or reference number generation is in form of a PDF file so you need to find a way to download and print it.
  5. The account number to pay is written on the “Application Form Invoice”.
You can pay at all Zenith Bank(only) Branches Nationwide
Already Admitted Pre Degree Students are informed that Lectures resume on Monday 17th of Nov 2014.
Acceptance Fee Deadline for Already Admitted Pre Degree students is on the 21st of Nov 2014.
