Is UNILORIN the most sought-After Universities in 2014 UTME with 105,000 Candidates - VC

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Prof. Abdul Ganiyu Ambali recently revealed that the institution was the most sought-after university in the 2014 UTME followed by University of Benin.

According to him, the institution had no fewer than 105,000 candidates who applied to the institution in the 2014 UTME.

He however mentioned that the Institution can only accommodate 9000 candidates.

“We just concluded the last batch of post-UTME screening. In the next few days, we will sit down and analyze the results,” Ambali said.

He also mentioned that the institution is improving efforts to increase the standard and quality of education it offers.
